Middle Data Engineer (#1799)

N-iX is looking for a Data Engineer who would be involved in designing, implementing, and managing the new Data Warehouse for our customer's supply chain.  The ideal candidate has worked in Snowflake, is experienced in traditional relational databases, and data integration.     
Our customer is Fortune 500 company. As a leading business-to-business organization, more than 3.2 million customers rely on its products in categories such as safety, material handling, and metalworking, along with services like inventory management and technical support.  

Responsibilities:

• Build Data Lake solution on top of Snowflake
• Develop end-to-end data solutions for structured and unstructured data (using DBT, Airflow, and Snowflake) including, but not limited to, ingestion, parsing, integration, etc.

Desired Skills/Competencies:

• 3+ years of experience working on Data Warehouse/Data projects
• Strong experience with Python 3.x
• Airflow experience and building DAGs
• DBT experience
• Experience with Snowflake
• SQL experience
• Familiarity with AWS
• Experience working in an agile development environment
• Attention to detail, excellent problem-solving ability, and strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience
