We are looking for Senior Manual QA Engineer who will work with one of the largest operators of non-franchised collision repair centers and one of the major retail auto glass operators in North America in terms of number of locations and sales. The company currently operates locations in Canada and in the U.S. 

Responsibilities:

  • Review business requirements to write test cases and test plans
  • Identify and document all levels of testing including functional, integration, user acceptance and exploratory
  • Analyze test results, troubleshooting issues and write up defects with a high level of detail
  • Participate in the Agile ceremonies: story grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective
  • Be able to set up proper test cases bank that will be automated afterwards
  • Support Automation QA with test automation
  • Participate in release preparation and post-release scenario validation (end-to-end testing)
  • Responsible for communicating daily progress, issues, risks
  • Be highly collaborative with test and dev engineers and business partners to deliver the highest quality
  • Be self-managed, but identify when escalation is needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of quality engineering experience 
  • Working knowledge of SQL
  • Experience testing RestfulAPIs
  • Experience and knowledge of Agile Scrum SDLC processes and tools
  • PostMan and Jmeter knowledge
  • Test case management tooling (QTest, Zephyr, X-Ray)
  • Gathering and helping to define acceptance criteria in collaboration with product owners
  • Test case creation from user stories utilizing a variety of techniques
  • Test data creation and maintenance
  • Defect triage and Management
  • Experience with JIRA/Confluence
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, organizational, and planning skills
  • Strong command of communication skills (in English)
