N-iX is looking for a Support Engineer to join our team full-time.
About project
It is a web application focusing on the trading market and provides corporate clients with a comprehensive suite of customization products, offering transparency, flexibility and predictability. The main goal is to allow clients to gain exposure to the market, simply and transparently, to extract a return.
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of scripting language (PowerShell or Python);
- Solid background in Windows, Linux/Unix OS, including MongoDB,
- Ensure delivered systems are of production quality. Ensure software is adequately documented for handover to the business;
- Knowledge of server-side infrastructure and admin tools;
- Experience in technical onboarding of new APIs and systems;
- Analyze and process system-collected data and recommend improvements to site operations and maintenance strategies;
- Ensure data communications from monitored systems remain intact and data is properly collected and stored;
- Must be able to work under demanding conditions with a calm demeanor;
- Proven ability to show proactiveness in picking up issues and improving existing processes;
- Process-driven and systematic mindset;
- Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills;
Will be a plus:
- Knowledge in Grafana;
- Knowledge of market connectivity protocols for key global derivative, commodity, cash, and equity markets;
- Experience gained in a financial services background, ideally finance;
- Good to know Fix Messaging protocol
- SQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle;
