This position is responsible for overseeing and managing IT systems and IT operational activities. The IT Operations Manager will oversee the strategic planning, procurement, implementation, security, protocols, and management of Information Technology solutions in use by the client and the IT operational activities associated with them.
IT Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the IT team, ensuring the availability and reliability of systems and networks, managing technology vendors, and implementing new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and productivity. He/She must ensure that the organization's IT policies and procedures are up to date and compliant with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams in Network & Security, Helpdesk, and Infrastructure operations (on-premise/Cloud).
  • Oversee daily IT department operations, ensuring system and network reliability.
  • Manage strategic planning and development of the company’s IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure the security, performance, and integrity of the IT infrastructure.
  • Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Manage technology vendors and service providers to meet organizational technology needs.
  • Evaluate and implement new technologies to support business goals.
  • Align IT functions with organizational business needs, collaborating with other departments.
  • Ensure IT policies and procedures comply with industry standards and company regulations.
  • Manage the IT budget, aligning expenses with financial goals.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments in IT operations management.
  • Provide end-user support, ensuring timely and quality assistance.
  • Effective Management of SLAs and OLAs for team and outsource vendors respectively
  • Oversee and train Help Desk staff, managing support systems and services.
  • Lead the IT support team in daily operations, equipment provisioning, and user access management.
  • Manage procedures for end-user support requests, ensuring effective resolution and coordination.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an IT Operations Manager or similar role.
  • Solid experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
  • Experience with network and server management.
  • Excellent knowledge of IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Strong understanding of IT operations management, including vendor management and budgeting.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with IT policies and procedures, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with cybersecurity measures and risk assessment.
  • Knowledge of frontend technologies (JS, TypeScript, Vue.js) as the project involves full-stack development.
  • Assess cybersecurity risks and implement proactive measures.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to protect the company's information assets.
  • Organize security awareness training and consciousness-raising activities.
