We are looking for a proactive Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team. Ringier AG is an innovative, digitalized and diversified Swiss media company operating in Europe and Africa. Its portfolio includes around 140 companies in the print, sports media, digital media, radio, ticketing, entertainment and e-commerce sectors and leading online marketplaces for cars, real estate, jobs and horizontals.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
- Deep understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript
- Proficiency in React and related libraries and framework
- Experience in Node.js
- Experience with Unit/Integration tests
- Strong understanding of Design Patterns, Algorithms, and OOP
- Experience with AWS
- Familiar with SQL and SQL databases (DynamoDB, PostgreSQL)
Responsibilities:
- Develop the functionality following the provided requirements
- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Architect, design, and work with the team to get new features and services into production
- Provide workload and timing estimations
- Actively participate in project team meetings and technical discussions related to the project
- Ensure decent test coverage for the new and existing code base
- Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, deployments
