Solution Architect with Core Banking experience (#1898)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Core Banking Solution Architect to join our team and work closely with our esteemed client, whose offerings include comprehensive solutions for core banking and digital banking transformation. As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with our client to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge banking systems. Your primary responsibility will be to provide technical leadership and expertise in architecting and customizing digital banking solutions tailored to our client's unique requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Client Collaboration: Establish a strong working relationship with our client's stakeholders, including business leaders, project managers, and technical teams. Collaborate closely to understand their business needs, strategic objectives, and specific requirements related to core banking solutions
• Solution Design and Architecture: Leverage your expertise in core banking systems to design scalable, efficient, and secure solutions aligned with our client's business goals. Develop comprehensive architectural designs, ensuring seamless integration with their existing systems and third-party applications
• Customization and Configuration: Analyze our client's business processes and requirements, identifying opportunities for customization and configuration within the core banking system. Work alongside development teams to define technical specifications, oversee customization efforts, and ensure the delivery of tailored solutions that meet our client's expectations
• Integration and Data Exchange: Collaborate with our client's technical teams to identify integration points between the core banking system and other systems or services, such as payment gateways, CRM platforms, or third-party APIs. Develop integration strategies and oversee the implementation of robust data exchange mechanisms
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to both our internal development teams and our client's technical staff. Review code, conduct technical assessments, and ensure adherence to best practices, industry standards, and architectural guidelines
• Performance Optimization: Collaborate with our client's infrastructure teams to optimize the performance and scalability of their core banking systems. Identify potential bottlenecks, propose solutions, and oversee performance testing and tuning activities
• Risk Assessment and Security: Assess security risks associated with the core banking systems and work closely with our client's security teams to implement appropriate measures and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
• Documentation and Communication: Prepare and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including system diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation guidelines. Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a clear understanding of the solution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications in enterprise architecture or core banking systems are a plus
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Solution Architect, with a focus on core banking systems. Strong knowledge of core banking functionalities, including account management, transaction processing, lending, and customer relationship management.
• Proficiency in core banking software platforms, such as Finacle, Temenos T24, FLEXCUBE, 10x, Mambu, Thought Machine, FIS Core Banking, or similar platforms
• Experience with integration technologies and protocols, such as SOAP, REST, API gateways, and message queues
• Familiarity with database systems, preferably Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL Server
• Knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF or Zachman
• Understanding of cloud computing platforms and technologies
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements, identify architectural challenges, and propose practical solutions. Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure core banking solutions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and infrastructure teams
• Demonstrated experience in providing technical leadership and mentorship to development teams. Ability to guide and inspire team members to achieve technical excellence.
• Experience in branch transformation would be a big plus, especially with solutions such as Axxiome Digital Teller.
