We are looking for Senior DevOps Engineer (AWS) who will be a part of a USA-based product company that produces smart machines for personalizing and designing anything by using applications. In this role, you will leverage your deep understanding of DevOps practices and AWS technologies to enhance our infrastructure, improve deployment strategies, and ensure the high availability of our services. Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, automated, user-friendly systems that meet our business needs.
  • Implement and manage continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS.
  • Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS.
  • Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing on the AWS platform.
  • Lead efforts to automate and streamline our operational processes.
  • Manage code deployments, fixes, updates, and related processes on both test and production environments.
  • Work closely with development teams to integrate their projects into the production AWS environment and ensure their ongoing support.
  • Ensure critical system security through best-in-class cloud security solutions and best practices.
  • Participate in the creation of systems documentation and operational procedures.
  • Engage in on-call support as needed to troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in DevOps, AWS, or related fields.
  • Strong experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, MSK and EKS.
  • Proficient in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Cloudformation and Terraform
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes such as CodeDeploy, ArgoCD, and GitHub Actions.
  • Solid understanding of networking protocols and components such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, ICMP, the OSI Model, Subnetting, and Load Balancing.
  • Experience with monitoring solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, and AWS CloudWatch.
  • Strong knowledge of source code management tools like Git, and experience with GitHub Runner and Workflows.
  • Prior experience with Helm or similar package managers for Kubernetes is a plus.
