Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users, subject matter experts, and IT teams, to gather and analyze core banking requirements
• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing core banking systems, processes, and workflows to identify gaps, areas for improvement, and optimization opportunities
• Design and document detailed functional specifications, use cases, and business process flows to facilitate system enhancements and implementations
• Work closely with development teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and ensure accurate and timely delivery of system changes
• Participate in system testing and quality assurance activities to verify that core banking systems meet specified requirements and resolve any identified issues
• Provide support and guidance to end-users during system implementations, ensuring a smooth transition and user acceptance
• Monitor and evaluate the performance and efficiency of core banking systems, identifying areas of concern and recommending improvements to enhance overall effectiveness
• Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to core banking, ensuring compliance and proposing necessary system adjustments
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver training materials and conduct training sessions on core banking functionalities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis  role
• Proven work experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on core banking systems
• Experience with core banking systems such as Finacle, Temenos T24, FLEXCUBE, 10x, Mambu, Thought Machine, FIS Core Banking, or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of core banking functionalities, including but not limited to account management, transaction processing, lending, payments, and regulatory compliance
• Solid knowledge of banking operations, processes, and industry standards
• Proficient in analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into functional specifications.
• Certification in business analysis or relevant industry certifications
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams and effectively communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices
• Experience in branch transformation would be a big plus, especially with solutions such as Axxiome Digital Teller.
