Our client is Fortune 500 company. As a leading business-to-business organization, more than 3.2 million customers rely on its products in categories such as safety, material handling and metalworking, along with services like inventory management and technical support.

Responsibilities:

  • Build, enhance and maintain ETL processes within Snowflake
  • Build, enhance and maintain Snowflake stored procedures/UDFs for analytical purposes
  • Collect, analyze and implement business requirements from the customer
  • Work closely with Data Engineering/API/QA Teams to produce a robust analytical solution for customer’s internal use
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc

 

Requirements: 

  • 6+ months of commercial experience with SQL and Python 
  • Familiarity with RDBMS and their main concepts 
  • Familiarity/working experience with cloud DWHs (preferably Snowflake)
  • Good knowledge of Git (required)
  • Familiarity with Apache Airflow (preferred, not required)
  • Experience using Unix-based OS (preferred, not required)
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (preferred, not required)
  • Familiarity with JavaScript or other C-based programming language (preferred, not required)
  • Good understanding of software development methodologies
  • Familiarity with ETL processes
  • Good communication skills (required)
  • Result-oriented team player and quick learner
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
  • At least Intermediate-level English
