Responsibilities:
- Build, enhance and maintain ETL processes within Snowflake
- Build, enhance and maintain Snowflake stored procedures/UDFs for analytical purposes
- Collect, analyze and implement business requirements from the customer
- Work closely with Data Engineering/API/QA Teams to produce a robust analytical solution for customer’s internal use
- Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc
Requirements:
- 6+ months of commercial experience with SQL and Python
- Familiarity with RDBMS and their main concepts
- Familiarity/working experience with cloud DWHs (preferably Snowflake)
- Good knowledge of Git (required)
- Familiarity with Apache Airflow (preferred, not required)
- Experience using Unix-based OS (preferred, not required)
- Experience with Amazon Web Services (preferred, not required)
- Familiarity with JavaScript or other C-based programming language (preferred, not required)
- Good understanding of software development methodologies
- Familiarity with ETL processes
- Good communication skills (required)
- Result-oriented team player and quick learner
- Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
- At least Intermediate-level English
