Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Product Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Data-Driven Marketplace: Function as an analytical ally to client’s product teams. You’ll generate insights and drive a data-driven product development process, ensuring decisions are rooted in robust analysis.
- Customer Understanding: A profound understanding of users and products will be central to your role. You’ll utilize data to understand user behaviours and needs, such as their search habits, to create business value and improve taxonomy.
- Consultative Analytics: Provide detailed answers to key questions and offer insight-driven recommendations to client’s product teams.
- Data Enablement: Partner with product teams to boost their data capabilities, empowering them to access, understand, and analyze data independently.
Our ideal candidate:
- Has been working in product organizations delivering insights for product teams and stakeholders;
- Can understand product and business fast;
- Understands the initial requests, and can find out what the requesters actually need, partners with Product Manager to improve the status quo;
- Can present findings to senior (e.g. C-Level) stakeholders through suitable formats;
- Generally has great communication skills, stakeholder management, and self-organization;
- Proficient in building visualizations in tools like Superset, PowerBI, mstrg, Quicksight, Looker and Tableau;
- Fluent SQL and Python knowledge
- Python: data frames, pandas, pyarrow, Jupyter notebooks, regex, and plotting tools
- Solid AB testing skills (and thereby statistics skills)
- understanding when to use AB testing
- consulting product manager and development team
- Solid Data Engineering and Data Warehousing skills
- building data pipelines using tools like Airflow, dbt, Git (Version Control)
- having worked with Data Warehouses and Data Lakes like Redshift, Snowflake, BigQuery, S3
- Tracking: knowledge of Google Analytics or other tools for event tracking
- setting up tracking plan with product team
- Data modeling skills (build data abstraction layers);
- Ideally some AWS knowledge (we work in the AWS environment);
- Ideally experience using Optimizely as experimentation tool;
- Upper-Intermediate English level is a must.
- Ukrainian language Advanced or higher.
