QA Engineer with Python Automation (#2566)

N-iX is seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Engineer eager to enhance their automation expertise using Python.

Our client provides user-friendly online employee scheduling tools, enabling efficient management of availability, time-off requests, employee certifications, and daily rosters.

As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in the Product Development team, ensuring the quality of our scheduling and labor management solutions. Your responsibilities will include planning, documenting, executing, and automating functional test plans and test cases for new product features in an Agile environment. You will also evaluate product specifications to ensure they align with design requirements.

The team is international, with developers and QA specialists from Ukraine, Latin America, and the US. This environment offers an excellent opportunity to strengthen your English language skills through frequent English-speaking meetings.

Main responsibilities

• Defining test plans and test cases, executing them, and reporting results
• Testing RESTful, SOAP web services 
• Testing web applications in a service oriented environment (SaaS)

Required skills

• 4+ years equivalent work experience
• Upper-Intermediate level of English knowledge
• Experience of using tools such as SoapUI, Postman
• SQL query knowledge for back end data validation
• Able to work effectively in a fast paced methodology such as Agile/Scrum
• Good theoretical knowledge of Automated Testing is essential
• Hands-on experience with Automated Testing

Desired skills

• Proficiency in Python programming skills for test automation utilizing Selenium WebDriver
• Hands-on experience with Playwright  is a strong advantage
