We are looking for a Level2 Support Engineer to help fuel our growth momentum in the United States and Europe.
Our client is a successful provider of SaaS solutions, helping medical device companies to spend less time on documentation. A third of the global top 12 medical device manufacturers rely on our SaaS products.
We support our customers to be more productive and bring their innovation to the market faster, and we go out of our way to help them do that. Therefore, you need to be ready to talk to them, understand their needs and help them to achieve their goals using our most excellent SaaS products.
Responsibilities:
- As our Level2 Support Engineer you will be working with our support, customer success, and engineering team to troubleshoot the most complex customer issues. You will help reproduce bugs or configuration problems on production systems and either find solutions by yourself or work with engineers in the product team to create solutions.
- You will fix complex problems by analyzing logs, debugging the application, and reviewing configurations and source code.
- You will be involved in identifying issues in the product and fixing bugs, working closely with the product development team.
- You will work with our APIs to develop automations or plugins, or help customers with the implementation of such tools.
- You will be the interface between our customers and our product organization, gaining a thorough understanding of our customer needs and the way they use our tools.
Requirements:
- You are an experienced engineer with a strong interest in customer workflows and software development.
- You have experience with JavaScript/Typescript (jQuery), Java, and SQL, Bash, PowerShell, are able to understand a complex codebase, and want to create improvements for an already existing application used by thousands of users.
- You have worked on Linux systems and are comfortable with the command line.
- You enjoy working with customers on real-world problems, and have ideally had some experience with medical device development.
- Ideally you have some experience working in the medical device space and understand regulated development workflows.
- You are fluent in English; other languages are always a bonus.
