We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic infrastructure team. You will be working in a cloud-native environment leveraging AWS to support the scalability, usability, and security of our platform. Our stack includes a range of leading technologies and services such as Datadog for monitoring, Okta for identity management, Prisma Cloud for security benchmarking, and Cloudflare for zero trust access to internal applications.
Our applications are deployed via Kubernetes across multiple clusters, and we strongly embrace automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). We use Terraform and Terragrunt for provisioning resources and ArgoCD/Helm for deployments within our CI/CD pipeline.
Your Responsibilities:
- Be a key member of the infrastructure team, bringing innovative ideas and a forward-thinking mindset to constantly improve the platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data, Application) to automate infrastructure processes and create documentation that enables teams to operate independently.
- Ensure the protection of critical customer data, balancing security with the speed of development and offering creative solutions to enhance both.
- Take ownership of the infrastructure you build, designing thoughtful solutions and proactively sharing ideas with colleagues for constructive feedback.
- Champion automation while considering the time/benefit balance for every task, using common sense to optimize efforts.
- Contribute to the development of a robust monitoring system, ensuring quality alerts are in place and that the platform runs seamlessly.
- Work alongside the Platform Architect to stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and continuously upskill.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s (MSc) or equivalent experience in a technical field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering).
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Experience in setting up and managing monitoring systems with efficient alerting strategies.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations, especially during infrastructure downtimes.
- Strong documentation skills, ensuring clarity for all team members.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Go, Python, Java, C).
- Advanced knowledge in Kubernetes and GitOps to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable operations.
- Passion for automation and experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and GitLab.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- A collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work remotely.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional certification is a strong plus.
- Professional communication skills in English.
If you are passionate about building secure, reliable, and efficient cloud infrastructure and want to work in an innovative, collaborative environment, we would love to hear from you!
