Role Overview:
As a Senior Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and deploying sophisticated computer vision algorithms and machine learning models to solve difficult use cases in object recognition, feature extraction, and image segmentation. Your work will be critical in transforming complex 2D PDF architecture plans into actionable data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement advanced computer vision algorithms for image segmentation, feature extraction, and object recognition.
- Develop machine learning models using both classic and state-of-the-art techniques to handle complex 2D PDF architecture plans.
- Productionize software solutions using Python and deploy them on the cloud (AWS, Docker, or similar).
- Apply AI-engineering approaches, including inference, rules-based systems, and geometric manipulation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate computer vision solutions into broader urban development projects.
- Ensure regular production releases with a strong focus on applied outcomes and end-user requirements.
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to understand and refine project goals.
- Independently manage project deliverables, demonstrating a strong commitment to achieving business objectives.
- Continuously learn and adapt to the nuances of image data and the specific business context.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in projects developing and deploying computer vision solutions.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with cloud-based production environments (AWS, Docker, etc.).
- Deep understanding of machine learning models for image segmentation, feature extraction, and object recognition.
- Demonstrated experience with AI-engineering techniques such as inference, rules-based systems, and geometric manipulation.
- A practical, hands-on approach with a focus on rapid iteration and applied results.
