We are looking for a Head of Payroll Accounting to oversee all payroll functions for our varied workforce, which includes employees, subcontractors, and freelancers globally. This role will involve developing, implementing, and managing efficient processes while automating and configuring the necessary software. You will lead a team of payroll accountants and work to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards with the assistance of local payroll consultants. As a crucial member of our organisation, you will help maintain accurate and timely compensation for our staff in Ukraine and internationally while ensuring seamless payroll operations.
Key responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance and accuracy in local payroll processes, calculations, documents and reporting;
- Maintain, audit and improve existing processes and design new ones;
- Develop Group level policies and procedures, taking into account local payroll requirements by countries;
- Perform calculations, documentation and internal controls related to the Group level and Local payroll processes.
- Reviews and guarantees submission of payroll-related data to service providers, statutory filing requirements and payroll approvals.
- Monitor the timeliness of execution of contract liabilities by payroll providers and perform quality control;
- Cooperate with HR and Legal Departments in payroll-related matters.
Essential professional experience:
- Experience in a similar position of 2+ years in payroll accounting management for companies with diverse personnel, preferably in IT
- Higher education (economics, accounting, finance, audit)
- Understanding of payroll accounting in different jurisdictions
- Understanding financial reporting standards
- Experience in implementing of relevant software and automating business processes
- Upper Intermediate level of English
