We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join our team in Colombia.
Our client is a leader in data-driven workforce and inventory technology for the retail, restaurant, and hospitality sectors. They provide mobile and cloud-based tools for the restaurant, retail and hospitality industries, delivering solutions designed to automate operational challenges such as recruiting, training, scheduling, business intelligence, shift communication, labor and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a key development stream ensuring efficiency and business goals achievement
- Ensure proper level of cooperation between development and product branches across multiple streams
- Define fundamental guidelines for engineering streams
- Proactively manage and mitigate project risks
- Cooperate and align the goals with customer top-management
- Take ownership of analyzing results and incorporating process improvements on cross-stream level
- Contribute to project prioritization based on development and product inputs
- Deploy and monitor KPI and performance metrics leading to organizational improvements
- Agile framework implementation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software development on modern technology stack (preferably Full Stack with .NET and React skills)
- 3+ years of experience on engineering leadership role
- Strong understanding of architecture, quality and security perspectives on software development
- Proficiency in agile team level development process (e.g. Scrum)
- Strong strategic thinking
- Self motivation and example based leadership skill
- Upper-Intermediate/Advanced English level
