N-iX is looking for a Senior Azure DevOps Engineer to join the team that works on the customer's product - the platform offering industry-neutral investor onboarding clearinghouse for the private markets. It provides solutions for KYC, taxation, managed services, fund subscriptions, MLRO support, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and evolve existing Azure infrastructure, including coding new areas from scratch using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).
- Improve CI/CD processes, automation, and monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with development teams (DevOps Lead + contributing developers) to drive DevOps adoption.
- Support DevOps democratization by enabling development teams to contribute to infrastructure management.
- Participate in development team stand-up meetings to assist with their DevOps and infrastructure needs.
- Work within a Kanban workflow and manage the DevOps backlog.
- Be available for on-call support (not yet active but planned soon).
Requirements:
- Azure DevOps for project and pipeline management.
- Strong expertise in Azure services: Azure Front Door, Azure App Service, Azure SQL Database.
- Future involvement with Azure Container Apps, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and Azure Functions.
- Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): strong Bicep skills, with an eventual transition to Terraform.
- Experience with YAML-based pipelines and Azure Pipelines.
- Proficiency in GitHubFlow CD (or willingness to work with it).
- Basic PowerShell knowledge to support existing scripts.
- Minimum 4+ years of Fintech experience.
- Understanding of SOC2 Type 2 compliance in DevOps processes.
- Experience with containerization and Kubernetes-based deployments in Azure.
- Security best practices for Azure DevOps, including role-based access control (RBAC) and secret management with Azure Key Vault.
Nice to have:
- Experience optimizing CI/CD processes and deployment automation.
- Migration from GitFlow to GitHubFlow experience.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform (as its adoption is planned).
- Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and setting up alerting mechanisms.
