N-iX is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer to join the team.
About the client:
Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Building new APIs and web applications
- Migrating legacy services to new technologies
- Running user profile services to store and manage user data
- Be able to communicate with UX Designer to challenge hard-to-implement design elements and agree with them on lower-effort alternative
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot
- Object Oriented Programming (OOP) experience
- Designing fast, scalable, and responsive APIs
- Experience with hyperscalers - AWS or Azure
- Experience designing complex relational databases
- Experience with SQL Databases (PostgresSQL)
- At least an Upper- Intermediate level of English
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Ready to take ownership
- In-depth analytics and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Domain Driver Design (DDD)
- Experience with Event Driven Design
- Basic understanding of C# and Scala
- Javascript or Typescript knowledge
- Experience implementing complex queries
- Experience with query analytics and designing fast queries
- Experience with Datalake, creating pipelines
