We are looking for a Senior Java Enigneer for one of our North American customers.
Responsibilities:
- Building new features on the top of existing web application, using Java, J2EE
- Support of existing applications (bug fixes, security updates, technical improvements)
- Work, using SAFe methodology, to deliver incremental value, actively participating in code reviews, sprint planning, and design discussions.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues in production and staging environments.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in development of Java-based web applications
- Strong proficiency in Java, J2EE
- Expertise in developing REST APIs
- Practical experience with JS, HTML, CSS
- Knowledge of Oracle 19c
- Hands-on experience with Docker containers, Kubernetes
- Working experience with MS Azure
- Proficient in using development tools like IntelliJ, Postman, Swagger
- Strong understanding of version control, security best practices, and Agile methodologies, especially SAFe
- Familiarity with est-driven development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to mentor junior developers.
- Upper-Intermediate/Advanced English level
