Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users, with a market presence in 18 countries. As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of existing services (e.g., bug fixes, security updates, performance optimization, technical improvements in Java, Scala, and TypeScript/React).
- Building new APIs and services using Java, Spring Boot, Apache Kafka, and AWS cloud solutions.
- Migrating legacy services to new technologies.
- Collaborate with other teams to analyze and improve the product.
Requirements:
- Must-Have:
- Designing services and analyzing the architecture of existing ones, with the ability to identify architectural vulnerabilities.
- Strong understanding of databases (both RDBMS and NoSQL solutions) and knowledge of database optimization techniques.
- Proficiency with Java/Spring Boot for building APIs and microservices
- Experience with TypeScript/React for web application development
- Should Have:
- Knowledge of CI/CD process, containerization (e.g., Docker), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- AWS cloud solutions (e.g., RDS, DynamoDB, S3, SQS, Lambda, CloudFront, CloudFormation, EC2)
- Experience with messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ). Apache Kafka is preferable.
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and ORM tools
- Nice to Have:
- Asynchronous programming experience with Java (e.g., Project Reactor)
- PostgreSQL in-depth, JOOQ
- OAuth 2.0, SSO integration
- Experience with observability tools like Datadog
