Middle GCP DevOps Engineer (#3181)

We are looking for a Middle DevOps Engineer with GCP to join our team! 

Our client handles delivering standard software products to support a wide range of conveyor and sortation solutions, warehouse automation, and distribution operations. As a DevOps automation engineer, you will have hands-on responsibility for designing, deploying, configuring, and keeping the critical tools used by software development teams across the globe to efficiently release software to our customers. This involves all aspects of the software delivery process/pipeline such as source code management, build tools/process, packaging and binary storage, bundle generation, deployment, and implementation customization process. You will also handle understanding how teams work and removing any system impediments to team productivity.

Responsibilities:

• Administration on support of GCP infrastructure & Terraform (new resource deployment)
• Creation of Python/Bash automation scripts
• SonarQube & Jenkins related tasks support
• Day-to-day communication with a client

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in enterprise DevOps automation engineering.
• Deep technical knowledge of DevOps tools, including some subset of Google Cloud, Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with creating PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripts for system maintenance activities.
• An understanding of continuous methodologies for integrations, builds, deployments, delivery, etc.
• Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, white-boarding and presentation.
• Exceptional ability to work with cross-functional teams to build partnerships and get things done.
• Ability to work with teams to remove impediments and support continuous improvement.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, College Diploma in Information Technology would be beneficial but equivalent work experience is also acceptable.
