Middle DevOps Engineer (#3194)

The Role:

This is a great opportunity for an experienced DevOps to join our super-motivated DevOps team, be part of one of our existing customers' teams. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Creating and enhancing Azure DevOps automated builds
• Assisting developers and testers in incorporating automated testing as part of the build pipeline
• Helping to monitor and diagnose issues in production and non-production environments
• Maintaining build servers to run at optimal level
• Ensuring new Azure features are utilised as appropriate
• Be an active member of the Scrum team, improving the process and ensuring that the team delivers on their commitment. Kanban

Knowledge:

• Experience with automated build and deployment encompassing websites, databases, storage, message queues, and other infrastructure pieces.
• An overall understanding of the process of automated deployment for the cloud
• DevOps experience such as Octopus, Bamboo, or Azure DevOps
• A track record of recent education in DevOps, including online training, conferences, user groups, and self-study.
• Self-organising problem solver with the ability to think outside the box.
• Works effectively with both local and remote colleagues, collaborating, motivating, and energising others.
• Possesses the drive and enthusiasm to build and deploy high-quality, cutting-edge software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Experience:

• At least 3+ years in the same position
• Previous experience working in medium-sized development teams.
• Experience required
• Experience working in an agile environment employing scrum methodology and JIRA as an SDLC management tool.
