Mechanical Engineer (Industrial Automation / Automotive Focus) (#3272)

N-iX is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our cross-functional team focused on industrial automation and automotive solutions.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in:

• Designing 3D models of equipment, including rack-mounted enclosures, server cabinets, and internal layouts
• Developing housing components and automation-related mechanical elements
• Working with FreeCAD, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX (or similar CAD tools)
• Cooperating with a hardware team
• Cable routings 
• Ensuring compliance with climatic and mechanical vibration standards (in particular, German and Japanese)

Key responsibilities:

• Generate quick 3D drafts to communicate ideas internally or to clients
• Deliver detailed 3D models, 2D drawings, and complete documentation packages for manufacturing
• Participate in the design of custom cabinets and mechanical parts for automation systems
• Perform basic mechanical stress and thermal simulations
• Propose alternatives and design solutions in response to team or client needs
• Collaborate closely with electrical engineers, software developers, and clients
• Communicate with manufacturers, support production, and resolve design-to-fabrication issues

• Daily communication with the Client starting 9 AM Ukrainian time
• Ukrainian language level Upper-Intermediate or higher
• English language level Intermediate or higher
