Your Role
As a Frontend Developer, you will be part of agile team building modern single-page web applications using React and TypeScript. Your role involves implementing new features, improving existing functionality, and ensuring high code quality through unit and end-to-end testing. You will collaborate closely with teammates in an agile environment (Scrum or Kanban), participate in sprint ceremonies, and follow clean code and test-driven development principles. Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, Redux, and Git is essential, and experience with CI/CD and open source projects is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- You will be an integral part of a small, agile development team (Scrum or Kanban) involved in creating modern web applications.
- Regular communication through stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews helps efficiently achieve sprint goals.
- Using React and TypeScript, you will build engaging and high-performance frontends.
- Collaborating with the team, you will plan and implement new features as well as enhance existing web apps.
- By employing unit tests (e.g., with Jest) and E2E tests (e.g., with Cypress or Selenium), you ensure the quality and stability of your code.

What We Expect from You
- bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or relevant experience)
- extensive experience developing modern single-page applications, with strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and Redux.
- proficient in modern HTML and CSS technologies, familiar with clean code principles, test-driven development, and common design patterns.
- being comfortable with version control systems (e.g., Git, ideally with GitLab) is part of your daily routine.
- practical experience with continuous integration/deployment and collaborative work in open source projects.
- to work independently, enjoy contributing to agile processes, and have a keen interest in continuous professional development.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. German knowledge will be a plus.
