Lead Power BI developer (#3438)

N-iX is looking for a talented Lead Power BI developer to join our team!  

Our client is one of Europe's fastest-growing mobile companies with 4.5  million active customers, 1,000 employees worldwide, and operations in five countries. The client is using the mobile virtual network operator business model.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring data accuracy, performance, and scalability of the Power BI solution
• Design and maintain advanced Power BI dashboards, data models, and reports
• Advocate for best practices in BI and data governance, continuously improve the system
• Collaborate with data analysts and stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Implement security measures to ensure data privacy and compliance with industry standards
• Work closely with database administrators and IT teams to ensure seamless integration with underlying data sources
• Ensure the enhanced documentation on Power BI solution
• Provide technical support and training to end-users on Power BI backend functionalities
• Clearly and concisely update stakeholders on the status of work items

Requirements:

• 5+ years of proven experience with Power BI
• Microsoft Power BI experience
• Experience with at least one alternative reporting tool
• Experience with handling complex data sets like above 20GB with complex hierarchies
• Experience with real time streaming refreshes & batch refreshes
• Experience in user group management in Power BI
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Knowledge of Power BI architecture, data modeling, DAX, and AML
• Experience working with SQL, data modeling, and ETL processes
• Experience in working with repository tools such as Azure DevOps, BitBucket, GITHub, Docker
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance standards
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to details
• Ability to communicate complex data in a clear concise manner
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field

Would be a plus:

• Microsoft Power BI Certification
• Familiarity with the fundamentals of languages such as Python
• Experience with MS Azure or other cloud
• Experience with Databricks
• Experience with Synapse
