Senior DevOps/Build Engineer (#3630)

We are seeking a Senior DevOps/Build Engineer to join an agile development team focused on software build systems and continuous integration workflows for a renowned German company specializing in high-quality household appliances.

Requirements: 

• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD; familiarity with Jenkins is a plus
• Proficient in scripting languages, particularly Python and Bash
• Solid knowledge of Yocto Linux, including confident daily usage for embedded development
• Experience working with server environments, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting; AWS knowledge is an advantage
• Willingness to occasionally work onsite at the client’s office in Wuppertal (a few days per quarter) if required
• Advanced English level, German is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the full development cycle and ongoing maintenance of the product
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) to support continuous delivery and automation
• Automate deployment processes, infrastructure management, and other repetitive tasks using scripting languages Python and Bash
• Work on Yocto Linux OS, ensuring seamless integration of the applications
• Provision and configure server resources and manage cloud services (AWS)
• Investigate and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues
• Collaborate within an agile team to implement and improve SW Build and Integration processes, ensuring alignment with development goals and timelines
