We are looking for a Middle JS Automation QA to join our team!
Our client is one of Europe's fastest-growing mobile companies with 5 million active customers, 1,000 employees worldwide, and operations in five countries. The client is using the mobile virtual network operator business model.
We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with strong expertise in JavaScript, end-to-end testing using Playwright, Cypress or similar tools, solid foundations in both web and mobile testing. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Cross-Browser & Cross-Platform Testing, Responsive Testing, DevOps practices, and capable of API validation as part of a quality-first engineering culture. Familiarity with Performance testing (stress, load), Detox or Appium, RestAssured, and Terraform is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile apps using tools like Playwright and Detox.
- Perform functional, regression, exploratory, responsive, and cross-browser/platform testing to ensure product stability and usability.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps engineers to understand features, clarify requirements, and plan test coverage.
- Take part in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure new features are testable and meet quality standards.
- Write clear and detailed bug reports and testing documentation.
- Monitor automated test runs and CI pipelines and help fix or investigate test failures.
- Promote a quality-focused mindset across teams and contribute to improving testing processes.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of commercial experience in software testing
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and modern automated testing tools (Playwright or Cypress).
- Proven QA experience covering both web and mobile testing environments.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing (load and stress).
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, AWS..).
- Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Intermediate+ English (written and spoken)
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Quality-driven with attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and within cross-functional teams.
Would be a plus:
- Familiarity with RestAssured for API testing.
- Exposure to Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
