As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will play a key leadership role in shaping technology direction, guiding cross-functional initiatives, and enabling high-impact delivery. You’ll be responsible for leading complex solution engagements—from discovery and advisory to implementation—while mentoring architecture talent, strengthening practices, and contributing to company-wide strategic growth.
This role is ideal for a seasoned architect with strong consulting capabilities, a track record of hands-on project delivery, and the ability to scale architectural impact across multiple teams and accounts.
Strategic & Leadership Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture visioning and cross-cutting strategic initiatives across a portfolio of enterprise clients.
- Drive practice growth by establishing frameworks, methodologies, and reusable assets for solution delivery and consulting engagements.
- Build and mentor architecture and engineering teams, ensuring capability uplift and technical excellence across accounts.
- Act as a trusted advisor to client C-level executives and technology leaders, helping shape digital strategy and technology roadmaps.
- Govern architecture implementation across the portfolio to ensure alignment with best practices, maintainability, and long-term value.
Delivery & Consulting Responsibilities:
- Lead or guide discovery phases, assessments, technical workshops, and architecture audits.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, sustainable architectural solutions.
- Own solution proposals during pre-sales and upsales, including technical vision, high-level design, risk management, and cost estimation.
- Lead project execution, ensuring architecture is delivered according to vision.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, aligning client needs with forward-thinking architectural approaches.
Qualification:
- 10+ years of relevant experience in software engineering and solution architecture.
- 3+ years in an architecture leadership or principal-level role.
- Proven ability to lead complex, high-impact consultancy engagements with global enterprise clients.
- Demonstrated experience building solutions from scratch, preferably for large-scale distributed systems (team size 30+, duration 12+ months).
- Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture, with hands-on experience in at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong background in microservices, APIs, integration patterns, and distributed system design.

- AWS data lake, s3, Glue, Data analytics, Snowflake + dbt, Reporting, PowerBI
Desirable Certifications:
- SEI Software Architecture Professional
- TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture certification
- Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Associate/Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
- Domain-specific expertise in areas such as data platforms, security, or enterprise integration is a plus
