Senior React Engineer with React Native (#3968)

N-iX is looking for Senior React Engineer to join our team! Our customer is a global marketplace for savings and investments, providing savers with effortless access to high-yield savings accounts and investment options from over 400 partner banks worldwide. It eliminates geographic limitations, ensuring transparency, convenience, and competitive rates. For banks, it offers cost-efficient deposit funding and innovative Banking-as-a-Service solutions.

IPP Consolidation is one of the two agile teams in the Investment and Pension Products working on core initiatives to re-build the pension products on to the BIPS platform. Their mission is to consolidate and stabilise Investment and Pension products into a more effective stack, to strengthen and simplify our offerings.

7 team members working collaboratively in a cross-functional setup.

Must-Have Skills & Technologies:

• 6+ years of strong React Expertise – Deep understanding of React, hooks, functional components, and performance optimization.
• Proficient with NextJS
• Experience in Static Site Generators
• Strong experience in React Native (2+ years)
• Testing Jest, React Testing Library, WCAG standards, ARIA roles
• JavaScript & TypeScript – Strong knowledge of ES6+ features and TypeScript for scalable applications.
• API Integration – Expertise in RESTful and GraphQL APIs, including error handling and caching.
• Performance Optimization – Experience in lazy loading, memoization, code splitting, and Webpack/Vite optimizations.
• CI/CD & Tooling – Familiarity with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI for automated testing and deployments.
• Styling & Design Systems – Experience with CSS-in-JS (Styled Components, Emotion) or utility frameworks like Tailwind CSS.
• Accessibility & SEO – Knowledge of WCAG standards, ARIA roles, and SEO best practices.
• Agile & Collaboration – Comfortable working in Agile teams and collaborating with designers, backend engineers, and product managers.
• Version Control – Strong Git skills, including branching strategies and code review best practices.
• English - Upper intermediate
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Monorepo Experience – Familiarity with tools like Turborepo, Nx, or Yarn Workspaces for managing monorepos.

Role & Responsibilities:

• 20-30% React native task
• 70-80% new features, 40-20% regactoring, bug fixing, support
• UI/UX Development – Build responsive, visually appealing, and accessible user interfaces.
• Coding & Development – Write clean, maintainable code using modern frameworks (React, Vue, Angular).
• Performance Optimization – Ensure fast load times, efficient rendering, and smooth interactions.
• API Integration – Work with REST/GraphQL APIs and manage state effectively (Redux, Context API, etc.).
• Cross-Browser Compatibility – Ensure consistent performance across all devices and browsers.
• Testing & Debugging – Write unit and integration tests (Jest, Cypress) and fix bugs efficiently.
• Collaboration – Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams.
• CI/CD & Deployment – Implement build tools, CI/CD pipelines, and monitor production applications.
• Security & Best Practices – Follow security, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO standards.
• Mentorship & Innovation – Guide junior developers and stay updated with new technologies.
