The Role

We are seeking an Operations Engineer passionate about system operations, troubleshooting, and automation.

In this role, you’ll:

• Support and maintain our infrastructure
• Resolve operational issues
• Contribute to process improvements and automation

Key Responsibilities

• System Monitoring & Support: Monitor system health and performance, respond to alerts, and resolve issues to ensure reliable operations.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Operational Tasks: Perform software updates, system patching, and manage user access
• Automation: Identify opportunities for automation and contribute to scripting and tools development under guidance
• Collaboration: Work with team members to ensure operational best practices are followed and continuously improved.
  
  

What You Bring

Technical Skills:

• Basic Linux and/or Windows administration with troubleshooting abilities
• Exposure to scripting or programming (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is a plus
• Awareness of monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
• Basic networking knowledge (IP addresses, DNS, troubleshooting)

Operational Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures
• Interest in operational efficiency and scalable process development
• Ability to document processes and solutions clearly

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with experienced engineers
• Strong communication skills with the ability to ask questions and seek help
• Proactive attitude and eagerness to contribute and grow

Basic Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT, system administration, or related field
• Foundational knowledge of operating systems, networking, or cloud technologies
• Experience with monitoring, logging, or cloud platforms
• Exposure to automation tools or practices
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) is a plus
• Passion for technology and solving real-world problems
