Senior AQA Engineer (#4516)

N-iX is looking for Senior AQA Engineer to join the team.

About the project:

Our client an award-winning global tax services and software provider, is the largest Firm in the world dedicated exclusively to business taxes. With global headquarters in Dallas, Texas, the Firm provides an integrated suite of federal, state, local, and international tax services on a multijurisdictional basis, including tax recovery, consulting, advocacy, compliance, and technology services. Customer is a seven-time recipient of the International Service Excellence Award from the Customer Service Institute of America (CSIA) for its commitment to world-class client service.

A VAT recovery system for their clients in European countries that would help to automate the regular work of VAT specialists at Ryan. The client team is located in Braga, Portugal.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute automated tests using Playwright (Typescript)
• Maintain testing framework
• Integrate with CI/CD tools and pipeline
• Triage, troubleshoot, and document defects
• Work closely with engineering and QA to manage and improve the development
  pipeline
• Provide feedback to the team about automation tests

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in tests automation using Playwright (Typescript)
• Solid knowledge of automation frameworks
• Deep knowledge of test automation processes and approaches
• Experienced in configuring testing frameworks
• Experience using bug-tracking tools such as ADO and/or similar bug-tracking
  tools
• Good experience with continuous integration processes and tools
• Knowledge and experience with version control systems (Git or another)
• Strong at REST API testing (Postman, Swagger)
• Ready to work with custom UI framework (Angular based)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Upper-Intermediate level of English
