Senior Game Economy Designer (Mobile, F2P) (#4651)

The studio has successfully collaborated with over 40 clients, including Paradox Interactive, Tempo Storm, Supermassive Games, and VRChat.
N-iX Games is looking for a Senior Economy Designer to join our team and help shape the live economy of live mobile F2P games in various genres, including but not limited to Match-3 and midcore strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Perform a holistic economy assessment (progression, pacing, sources/sinks, rewards, monetization, hooks, live-ops interactions)
• Identify structural risks, inefficiencies, and scalability issues and provide clear findings and prioritized recommendations, grounded in data and mobile best practices
• Help define concrete, implementable changes for each project (not just high-level theory)
• Work with us during the time of the mission, allowing for iteration, validation, and refinement rather than a one-off audit.
• Clear deliverables per phase (assessment, findings, proposals, iteration support)
• Close and daily collaboration with our internal design, product, and data teams

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Mobile Gaming, with at least 2 years in an Economy Designer position.
• At least one shipped title with live operation experience and monetization success.
• Strong understanding of economy systems (currencies, progression pacing, drop rates, reward systems, sinks vs. sources)
• High proficiency in Excel (including advanced formulas, simulations, visualizations, scripting)
• Clear communicator, capable of documenting systems and explaining rationale to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Data-driven, hands-on, systems thinker
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• English level - Upper-Intermediate or higher
