Head of Delivery Excellence — Consulting Engagement (#4743)

N-iX is transitioning from a "talent-based" vendor to a "system company". 

We are looking for an experienced Delivery Excellence leader to join us initially as a consultant to design the foundation of the N-iX Delivery Operating System (DOS) - the global umbrella that defines how we engineer, deliver, govern, measure quality, and leverage AI at scale.
Following this phase, there will be an opportunity to transition into a full-time leadership role - Head of Delivery Excellence - to implement, scale, and own this system globally.
Your ultimate goal: convert N-iX’s “invisible know-how” into tangible, repeatable, scalable assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build the "N-iX DOS": Standardize how N-iX delivers excellence at scale by creating a hierarchy of Frameworks (methodologies) and Playbooks (daily guides)
• Codify Institutional Capital: Systematize architectural knowledge, project patterns, estimation models, and risk playbooks so knowledge lives in systems, not just in people's heads
• Operationalize Specializations: Ensure the DOS supports and amplifies our focus on Application Modernization, Platform Engineering, and Data/AI Modernization
• Enhance Enterprise Credibility: Build the mature governance frameworks and QA standards that allow us to win large-scale, high-value transformation deals
• Industrialize GenAI Delivery: Support the shift toward GenAI-powered engineering to improve margins, scale predictably, and differentiate N-iX in a crowded market.

The Ideal Profile:

• Must have deep experience in the IT services sector, specifically understanding the evolution from "staff augmentation" to "complex modernization projects"
• Familiarity with the delivery models of  globally recognized engineering and technology consulting companies known for building mature delivery operating frameworks ensure N-iX's DOS remains top-tier
• 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5+ years specifically focused on Delivery Excellence, Delivery, and Delivery Operating Models within IT services companies
• Strong technical background in software engineering, architecture, or platform/data engineering - will be a strong advantage
• The ability to take "invisible" expertise scattered across senior engineers and synthesize it into reusable, modular assets
• Skilled at using estimation models, quality criteria, and risk playbooks to move from "heroic" delivery to "predictable" delivery
• A natural drive to create hierarchical structures—moving from a global Operating System to specific domain Frameworks and practical Playbooks
• Obsessed with "fixation of value," ensuring that best practices are documented and implemented into day-to-day processes rather than rediscovered every time.
