Senior Business Analyst (#4754)

Our client is Azerbaijan's leading mobile telecommunication provider, holding a 49% market share with 5.0 million customers. Together with N-iX, the customer is launching a strategic project to develop and implement a brand-new Internal Document Management System (DMS).
We are looking for a high-ownership Senior BA who can act as a Proxy Product Owner, design complex document workflows from scratch, and establish best practices for the entire document lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a partial Product Owner for the DMS stream; define the product vision, build the workstream roadmap, and take full responsibility for backlog prioritization.
• Design and implement end-to-end document workflows (creation, approval cycles, digital signatures, archiving, and security) based on industry best practices.
• Collect, analyze, and translate complex internal business needs into precise functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Establish documentation standards and BA processes within the stream, ensuring a self-organized and efficient delivery flow.
• Lead conversations with business SMEs and department heads to align needs, manage expectations, and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Review delivery requests and defect reports, performing rigorous impact analysis to maintain system integrity and prioritize fixes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with Document Management Systems or Enterprise Content Management (ECM). You must understand how document lifecycles, metadata, and access controls work.
• Experience building business processes from the ground up, including mapping complex "as-is" and "to-be" workflows.
• Ability to think like a Product Owner—balancing business value, technical feasibility, and user experience.
• Should be a self-organized professional capable of driving the stream forward with minimal supervision.
• Ability to produce high-quality technical documentation that is testable and precise. Knowledge of databases and API integrations is a strong plus.
• Exceptional ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
• Extensive experience in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and a deep understanding of the SDLC.
• Experience working with third-party vendors to specify and manage deliverables when necessary.
