Middle Data Engineer (#4770)

We are looking for a Middle Data Engineer to join our client's team. You’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, supporting data-driven decision-making across the business. You’ll work with modern cloud-based tools and collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain data pipelines and workflows in Redshift and DBT (Cloud or Core)
• Transform raw data into clean, actionable datasets for downstream analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver reliable solutions
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and performance across the data ecosystem
• Support the integration of data from various sources using modern ETL tools
• Contribute to the ongoing development of our data platform, including documentation and best practices

Core Qualifications (Must-Have)

• Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Redshift
• Solid experience with DBT Cloud or DBT Core for data modeling and transformation
• Proficient in SQL and data warehouse concepts
• Understanding of data quality, testing, and governance principles

Nice-to-Have Skills
ETL & Workflow Orchestration:

• Experience with Airbyte and/or Apache Airflow

AWS Ecosystem:

• Familiarity with AWS Glue, Crawlers, DataLake architecture, S3, and Parquet file formats

Big Plus

• Experience with Amazon QuickSight for building BI dashboards and reports
