We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

About the project:
The project is dedicated to the Sales Tax area: building a SaaS solution that helps clients track and forecast their performance.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze utilization metrics to right-size instances, databases, and containers
  • Enforce strict resource tagging and allocation for accurate cost tracking and reporting
  • Automate shutdowns of non-production environments and manage ephemeral resources efficiently
  • Monitor cloud spend using native tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, Google Cloud Cost Management) and third-party platforms like Firefly
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to shift-left FinOps, ensuring cost considerations are integrated early in the design phase
  • Recommend cost-saving strategies such as spot instances, reserved instances, and optimized storage tiers
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track KPIs, including cost per deployment, idle resource percentage, and cost per feature.

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of DevOps experience
  • Proven experience with Azure cloud platform and cost management tools
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and automation
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
  • Knowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization strategies
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and scalable architectures
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret utilization metrics and implement actionable changes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English

 

Preferred:

  • Certification in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or DevOps
  • Experience with third-party cloud cost management tools (e.g., Firefly)
