We are looking for a Senior Automation QA Engineer (Playwright) to join our team working on a FinTech web application for a UK-based client. The product focuses on the trading market and provides corporate clients with customizable solutions that ensure transparency, flexibility, and predictability. The team consists of 10 specialists located in Lviv and London, collaborating in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases and test plans
  • Design, execute, and document tests across functional, integration, UAT, and exploratory levels
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot issues, and document defects with high attention to detail
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives)
  • Communicate progress, risks, and issues to the team and stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Collaborate closely with developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and proactively seek guidance or escalate issues when needed

 

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in software quality engineering (QA)
  • Strong hands-on experience in QA automation, including stress and load testing
  • Solid expertise with Playwright (key requirement)
  • Knowledge of AI applications in QA/testing (key requirement)
  • Experience working with SQL
  • Hands-on experience in testing RESTful APIs
  • Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies and tools
  • Experience with test case management tools (e.g., TestRail, Xray)
  • Ability to define and refine acceptance criteria with Product Owners
  • Proficiency in writing test cases from user stories using various test design techniques
  • Experience in creating and maintaining test data
  • Hands-on experience with defect management and triage processes
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and planning skills
  • Upper-Intermediate+ level of English (written and spoken)
  • Nice to have - experience working with Jira
