The Client is embarking on an exciting and challenging transformation program and our software solutions are a driving force behind this strategy using cloud computing and leading-edge design patterns. 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years as a Product Owner in a software development environment
  • Strong requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation across business, functional, and non-functional needs
  • Hands-on experience writing clear user stories with acceptance criteria and managing/prioritizing a product backlog
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum / Kanban teams
  • Proficiency with Jira (required) and Confluence (or comparable Agile and documentation tooling)
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and cloud-based architectures, with a working understanding of AWS/Azure
  • Understanding of REST APIs, integrations, and data flows
  • Process mapping and modeling skills (BPMN, flow diagrams)
  • Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and workshop leadership
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a distributed, multi-timezone team (EU, UK)
  • Excellent English communication skills, comfortable with both technical and non-technical audiences

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with AI-assisted development and analysis tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor)
  • Background in enterprise / B2B SaaS, multi-tenant platforms, or large-scale portals
  • Experience supporting a platform consolidation, migration, or feature-parity initiative
  • Certification such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum (CSM, SAFe) / Product Owner (CSPO)
  • Experience with SQL or data querying tools
  • Exposure to compliance or regulatory-driven environments (data privacy, security standards)

Responsibilities:

  • Own, refine, and prioritize the product backlog for the portal feature-parity workstream
  • Translate product vision and business objectives into clear, actionable user stories with acceptance criteria in Jira
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions
  • Lead and support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning
  • Ensure requirements traceability from business objective through to delivery
  • Collaborate with engineering, UX, DevOps, and QA to clarify requirements and resolve ambiguities
  • Document workflows, process diagrams, system interactions, and data flows
  • Define KPIs and success metrics for new features and releases
  • Support UAT planning and validation to confirm delivered functionality meets business intent
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and impacts of proposed changes
  • Engage with Client product and engineering counterparts in EU/UK on scope, integration points, and delivery milestones
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retros, demos)
