Lead Cloud Engineer (Azure) — Interview Experts Needed (#5499)

N-iX is looking for experienced technical experts to conduct interviews for candidates applying to the Cloud Engineer role.

About the Role

The Cloud Engineer position focuses on designing, implementing, and maintaining Azure-based infrastructure for connected safety systems. This includes secure data ingestion from mobile and embedded devices, scalable storage for telemetry and crash data, notification workflows, and supporting machine learning model deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable Azure cloud architecture

• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for mobile and BLE devices

• Optimize database performance (Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL)

• Build and manage SMS, email, and push notification workflows

• Support ML model deployment for crash detection

• Implement CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps

• Monitor and optimize cloud resources and costs

• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data privacy standards (GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering (Azure preferred)

• Strong knowledge of cloud-native services, serverless architecture, APIs, and data pipelines

• Familiarity with security best practices and regulatory compliance

• Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, Terraform, or Bicep

• Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Prometheus)

• Upper-Intermediate+ English level

Nice to Have

• Experience with IoT, wearable safety systems, or BLE integration

• Exposure to ML Ops lifecycle management

• Azure certifications (Solutions Architect, Security Engineer)
