Senior System Analyst (#5709)

N-iX is looking for a highly skilled Senior System Analyst to join the project aimed at modernizing and developing the client solutions. 

Our client is one of the largest banks in Ukraine, with its headquarters in the EU. They specialize in bank services for businesses and individuals in Ukraine and Europe.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for different software systems 
• Write technical documentation (functional and non-functional requirements) and determine development priorities 
• Define, elaborate, and document architectural solutions, design data storage structures, and determine integration points with external/internal systems 
• Perform post-deployment control of new IT system versions 
• Develop specifications, user stories, and business process documentation
• Identify incidents in information systems 
• Train, consult, and support employees involved in preparing development requirements 
• Support project delivery by monitoring progress and assisting in issue resolution

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a System/Business Analyst or similar role
• Experience in formalizing software requirements and setting tasks for developers 
• Proficiency with relational (SQL queries, DB structures, transactions, indexes) and non-relational databases 
• Knowledge of non-functional requirement types 
• Knowledge of web technologies, understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of integration protocols (HTTP, SOAP, REST). Experience with SOAP/REST web services and JSON/XML formats 
• Experience with tools such as Jira, GIt, Confluence, or similar
• Proficiency in BPMN and UML modeling languages (Deployment-, Component-, Use Case-, Sequence diagrams) 
• Knowledge of application authentication and authorization methods 
• Understanding of software component interaction patterns 
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field

Nice to Have:

• Practical experience in banking or financial services for enterprise clients
• Experience in banking, financials or insurance domain
