As a Technical Game Designer in our team, you will be responsible for forging and assembling all aspects of the player’s experience for an upcoming ambitious mobile project. You will be responsible for setting up scenes, visual scripting, and content implementation using custom Unity3D-based tools.

Requirements: 

  • At least 1 year of experience in a technical designer/scripter position;
  • 2+ years of overall experience in the game design area;
  • At least 1 released mobile project;
  • Experience with any kind of visual scripting language;
  • Advanced Unity3D user with experience in using custom-made editor plugins, tools, and expansions; 
  • Experience in using FMOD/Wwise audio engines;
  • Experience in the implementation of complex 2D scenes;
  • B2 English or higher;

 

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with tech, art, and UI departments to support features production;
  • Import, tune, and set up various types of content provided by other departments;
  • Assemble scenes and scenarios in-engine following the provided scripts and guidelines;
  • Building playthroughs using visual scripting and custom-made editor expansions;
  • Maintain design documentation;
  • Coming up with new game ideas to add value & participate in brainstorms.

 

Nice to have:

  • Experience with UX design;
  • Experience with visual novels, quests, or adventure games;
  • Additional experience with balancing and game economy design; 
  • Hands-on experience with any modern game engine;
  • Good understanding of the mobile game market;
  • Advanced knowledge of analytics & KPIs;
  • Problem-solving mindset;
