Middle Legal Counsel (#4863)

Currently, we are looking for Legal Counsel to support the Legal Department within the international N-iX group by assisting with client legal affairs, including contract (and supportive documents) reviews, document administration, coordination with internal stakeholders and communication with external parties.

Key Responsibilities:

(1) Legal support in Client Legal Affairs Unit, preparation, review, analysis and full-cycle support of:

• NDAs with potential clients
• services agreements and clients’-related agreements
• partnership agreements
• license agreements
• legal support in debt collection and/or bankruptcy proceedings

(2) Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders:

• participation in internal meetings and cross-functional and cross-departmental collaboration
• legal "Translation": Providing clear, jargon-free explanations to non-legal stakeholders
• occasional participation in external negotiations with Clients

(3) Performing expert research and advise on specific legal issues and drafting analyses and studies

Expected Results within 6-12 Months: Independently (or as part of the team for more complex projects) handle services agreements with Clients, clients’-related agreements and other matters.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department (preferably within an international group, IT, or similar business environment)
• Experience 1+ year in Client’s Affairs domain of an IT company is a must (services agreements with the clients)
  
• Master Law degree of Ukrainian credible university. LLM or certificates from foreign law schools is a plus
• English — Upper-Intermediate (B2+) or higher is a must
• Strong analytical skills, attentiveness to details, service focus and proven ability to work efficiently with a big quantity of various projects meeting the deadlines
• Capacity to work across multiple jurisdictions and priorities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional environment
• Strong negotiating skills
•  Ability to work efficiently independently or with minor supervision of seniors with other departments with positive colleagues' feedback
• Ability to think broadly about the business and to speak the language of the business
• Strong problem-solving skills: ability to identify and reframe the problem in order to find a fast solution.
