Senior React Engineer with React Native (#5012)

We are looking for a Senior React Engineer with expertise in React Native to join our team.

The team is part of the “Deposit Tribe”, which consists of four teams that collaborate closely on the mission: To deliver solutions that enable simple, effective deposit-taking bank partnerships that offer best-in-market Deposit products to Customers. 

As a cross-functional team consisting of frontend, mobile, and backend engineers, the Deposits Payments Team builds, runs, and maintains the core platform solution for Raisin, which orchestrates the payments between the customer and Deposit Taking Banks. 

The team is also responsible for the communication interface with the banks. The team owns the whole lifecycle from design and development through maintenance of the services at runtime. The team is responsible for the 24/7 runtime support of their services.

Your Responsibilities 

• As an experienced Frontend Engineer, you will be improving the customer experience by building and refining the journeys that help users discover and evaluate deposit products across our platforms 
• Together with your team, you will own the design, implementation, and deployment of our applications 
• Part of your responsibilities will be guiding features from their implementation through to testing, refinement, and finally launch
• Working closely with our product UX team to find practical and efficient solutions to complex problems is also part of your responsibilities 
• You are actively participating in an agile and collaborative process in a cross-functional team with end-to-end ownership 
• Finally, you are responsible for continuously improving your team as well as yourself 

Tech Stack (Must-Havens): 

• University degree in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent practical experience 
• You have been working as a professional Frontend Engineer 
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. 
• You have strong experience with React or similar Frameworks / Libraries
• Familiarity with CSS-in-JS like styled-components 
• Experience with Next.js, Static Site Generators, the JAM-Stack, (headless-) Content Management Systems, and material-ui is a plus
• Familiarity with React Native, Redux, RTK Query 
• You are comfortable participating in technical and architectural discussions 
• You are an open-minded and creative team player willing to continue creating our culture 
• Great English communication skills
