Senior Manual QA (Web + Mobile) (#5577)

N-iX is looking for a Senior Manual QA Engineer to join a long-term project for one of Europe's largest international banking groups. You will become part of a cross-functional Agile team developing digital banking products, including web applications, mobile apps (iOS & Android), and backend services. This role offers the opportunity to work across the entire product ecosystem—from API validation to mobile and web testing—while contributing to high-quality releases used by thousands of customers. This is a long-term engagement (approximately one year with the possibility of extension) with a stable team and standard Ukrainian working hours.

Responsibilities:

• Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases, checklists, and test documentation;
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing;
• Test REST APIs using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI;
• Validate backend data using SQL queries;
• Test web applications and mobile applications (iOS & Android) on real devices and emulators;
• Verify UI/UX, push notifications, deep links, offline/online scenarios, and various network conditions;
• Analyze logs and investigate defects to identify root causes;
• Participate in sprint planning, test estimation, and requirements analysis;
• Maintain test artifacts in Azure DevOps, Jira, TestRail, and Confluence;
• Collaborate closely with developers, business stakeholders, and QA engineers;
• Mentor junior and middle QA engineers and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience in Manual QA;
• 3+ years of hands-on REST API testing experience;
• At least 2 years of recent mobile testing experience (iOS & Android);
• Strong knowledge of SQL for database validation;
• Experience with Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI;
• Good understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, JSON, and XML;
• Experience testing mobile applications on real devices and emulators;
• Knowledge of Android Studio, ADB, and Xcode for log analysis;
• Solid understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies;
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, and Confluence;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Upper-Intermediate English or higher;
• Ukrainian language for day-to-day communication..

Nice to have:

• Experience with API test automation;
• Experience working with Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB;
• Banking or fintech domain experience.
