Lead Automation QA Engineer (JavaScript) (#5757)

N-iX is looking for a skilled AQA Lead to join the team. 

About the project:

Our customer is a full quote-to-cash ERP/PSA used by field service companies (system integrators) that install and maintain physical equipment - AV systems, security cameras, fire alarms, HVAC. The platform covers several modules. It is sold as an all-or-nothing product today - no modular subscriptions.

Responsibilities:

• Set up the AQA process from scratch
• Define and enforce QA standards, methodologies, and best practices across the Program
• Implement and maintain test automation framework
• Integrate with CI/CD tools and pipelines
• Triage, troubleshoot, and document defects
• Take ownership of Product quality, report status, and quality metrics to the client;
• Lead the planning and execution of testing activities for multiple projects/teams simultaneously
• Cooperate with Program Manager, Enterprise Architect, Product Manager, and other teammates to maximize the value of implementation
• Present key achievements, cooperate with client’s stakeholders (managers, SMEs) on the implementation process 
• Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback
• Supervise key milestones and artifacts delivery in line with the business and technology objectives

Requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of test automation with solid knowledge and experience in JS/TS
• 4+ years of commercial experience in test automation using Playwright(preferred)/Cypress/Selenium
• Experience designing test frameworks for highly configurable or multi-tenant products
• Experience and understanding of the Test Management process
• Experience with API testing (REST, GraphQL)
• Hands-on experience with SQL (querying, data validation, stored procedures, test data management)
• Practical experience leveraging AI in QA/AQA processes (requirements analysis, test case generation, test data creation, AI-assisted code review, AI-powered test maintenance)
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (Azure DevOps) practices
• Experience in setting processes from scratch (inc. Framework and CI process)
• Experience working with scalable multi-stream projects and providing consolidated reporting to C-level management
• Experience in team leading and coaching (team of 10+ QA/AQA)
• Experience in planning and estimation 
• Fluent English (B2 as a minimum);
• Excellent communication skills, including presentation and knowledge sharing experience
