Middle/Senior 3D Artist (#5775)

N-iX Games is looking for a Middle/Senior 3D Artist to join our team!

The team of 240+ professionals focuses on full-cycle game development, VR solutions, and content creation for all the most popular platforms. The studio has successfully collaborated with over 100 clients, including Paradox Interactive, Supermassive Games, Netflix, Tempo Storm, Wargaming, Activision-Blizzard and many others.

We strive to deliver AAA quality of our work and are looking for exceptional talent to join us. We are currently seeking experienced 3D Artists to work remotely, in-house, or on a freelance basis, delivering high-quality 3D assets, such as weapons, vehicles, props or characters for indie and AAA games across various genres.

Responsibilities:

• Creation of high-quality 3D assets (be it characters, hard-surface props, or environments).
• Cooperate with other artists to streamline the art creation process
• Work with the team lead to create a plan and schedule

Required Skills:

• Strong portfolio showing 3D art skills
• Ability to rationally distribute polycount at the facility
• Understanding different UV types (tiles, rectangular, UDIM)
• Ability to follow and correctly interpret the concept or to create 3D models from a photo or provided reference materials
• Strong knowledge of ZBrush, 3dsMax, Maya, Blender, Photoshop, Substance Painter,  Marmoset Toolbag
• Understanding of modern pipelines and technical limitations for creating models
• Good organization, time management, problem-solving, and communication skills

As a plus:

• Knowledge of SubD modelling
• Knowledge of Substance Designer, Plasticity, UE5/Unity
• Ability to communicate in English
• Understanding of PBR pipelines for texturing
• Passion for games
