About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to support a project focused on assessing and building a comprehensive customer universe using data from internal and external sources. The role focuses on data acquisition, validation, matching, and process development — assessing data quality and coverage, matching external data with existing customer/account databases, identifying gaps and duplicates, and developing a structured approach for ongoing data maintenance and improvement. The contractor will work closely with Global Insights, Customer Excellence, and local affiliates to refine processes, support pilot readiness, and translate findings into practical recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of a data acquisition and validation POC using external data sources.
• Work with large datasets from internal and external sources, including cleansing, structuring, and validating data.
• Assess match rates, data coverage, duplicates, gaps, inconsistencies, and overall data quality.
• Investigate data discrepancies and identify opportunities for data enrichment and improvement.
• Evaluate external data attributes as potential indicators of customer/account size, activity, or potential.
• Develop and document approaches for customer universe identification, matching, validation, and ongoing maintenance.
• Create clear process documentation and SOPs and identify opportunities for process simplification or automation.
• Support pilot preparation by defining relevant requirements, success metrics, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and local teams to understand requirements and communicate findings.
• Present analytical findings and practical recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation, trackers, and progress updates.

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Quality, Data Operations, Business Analysis, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large volumes of data.
• Practical experience with data cleansing, validation, matching, and deduplication.
• Experience combining and analyzing data from multiple sources.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate data quality issues and identify patterns, gaps, and inconsistencies.
• Ability to independently structure ambiguous problems and develop practical approaches to solving them.
• Ability to translate analytical findings into clear business insights and recommendations.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks in a fast-moving environment.

Nice to have:

• Experience in healthcare, aesthetics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or commercial excellence.
• Experience using external data providers or web-sourced datasets.
• Experience with CRM systems (Veeva CRM, Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.).
• Experience building customer universe or account segmentation approaches.
• Familiarity with data enrichment and data quality methodologies.
• Experience working across international markets.
