Senior System Analyst (Oracle APEX) (#5842)

The team is looking for a System Analyst with strong Oracle APEX, SQL, and PL/SQL expertise to analyze existing Oracle APEX dashboards and the Oracle procedures supporting their functionality, as well as prepare detailed technical specifications for developers.
As a System Analyst, you will analyze the structure and configuration of Oracle APEX applications and dashboards, investigate the underlying Oracle database logic, and translate business and system requirements into clear technical specifications for development.
The overall technology stack is Oracle PL/SQL / SQL + Oracle APEX.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze the structure of Oracle APEX applications, pages, and dashboards.
• Review the configuration of regions, reports, charts, interactive grids/tables, filters, and metrics.
• Analyze data sources, SQL queries, and conditions used to generate information.
• Review processes, calculations, validations, dynamic actions, and navigation between pages.
• Analyze user roles, access permissions, and conditions controlling the visibility of elements.
• Verify the correctness of data display and data updates.
• Identify duplicated logic, configuration issues, inefficiencies, and potential system risks.

Technical Specification & Requirements:

• Clarify business requirements and expected outcomes.
• Prepare detailed technical specifications describing required system changes.
• Define Oracle APEX components and Oracle database objects that need to be created or modified.
• Describe algorithms, data-processing rules, and user scenarios.
• Define requirements for UI elements, filters, reports, charts, and metrics.
• Specify user roles and access permissions.
• Define acceptance criteria for implemented changes.
• Provide developers with the necessary explanations and consultations during implementation.

Requirements Must have:

• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle APEX and principles of dashboard development.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills.
• Understanding of Oracle database structure and relationships between database objects.
• Experience analyzing Oracle procedures, functions, packages, triggers, and SQL queries.
• Ability to analyze business logic, data sources, and system performance.
• Experience preparing technical documentation and detailed technical specifications for developers.
• Understanding of software testing principles and the ability to define acceptance criteria for changes.
