N-iX, a global software services and engineering company, proudly continues its strategic partnership with Just Join IT, Poland’s leading IT job portal, as the primary partner of the annual industry report “What About the Eldorado? 2025/2026 Earnings and Expectations of the IT Industry.”
The report provides an in-depth, data-driven view of the Polish IT market, covering salary trends, hiring dynamics, and evolving expectations of both employers and professionals.
Based on an analysis of nearly 111,000 job postings published on justjoin.it in 2025 and survey insights from over 4,400 IT specialists, the report captures a market at a clear turning point. After two consecutive years of decline, the Polish IT job market has stabilized — with the number of job offers increasing by 8.42% year over year, reaching 110,996 listings. While this growth signals renewed balance, the report makes it clear that the industry has entered a more mature and selective phase.
The report also highlighted how the Polish IT market has entered a more mature phase. The hiring boom of 2021–2022 is over, with employers now prioritizing impact, seniority, and long-term value — bringing greater stability despite fewer easy opportunities.
In 2025, Data became the strongest recruitment category (10.78% of all offers), while AI and machine learning specialists saw a record 15% B2B salary increase, confirming AI’s shift from hype to real investment. Juniors accounted for just 4.79% of offers, while hybrid work grew by 29%. However, salary gaps persist: junior pay aligns with offers, mid-level professionals earn up to 21% less than advertised, and seniors often earn more.
Pavlo Deshchynskyy, COO at N-iX, commented:
“2025 marked a real inflection point for the IT market. If 2024 was about recovery and cautious hiring, this year clearly rewarded productivity and seniority over raw headcount. Teams became leaner, expectations grew, and impact started to matter more than availability. Developers who learned how to work with GenAI tools gained stronger job security and better pay growth, as demand continues to shift toward specialists who combine deep technical expertise with system thinking, cloud knowledge, and the ability to design and operate AI-enabled systems.”
As the primary partner of the report, N-iX shared expert insights on emerging roles, AI adoption, and the future of engineering. The findings confirm a clear shift: companies are no longer looking for execution-only roles, but for teams capable of solving complex business problems, integrating AI, and delivering measurable impact.
The report also shows that salary stabilization in some roles reflects market maturity rather than stagnation. The key challenge ahead is the widening skills gap — especially between junior specialists and experts who combine deep technical expertise with AI literacy and business understanding. Looking toward 2026, the market will increasingly reward adaptability, strategic thinking, and impact over volume, making this report a practical guide to navigating the next era of Polish IT.
